This is how much the UK's Alzheimer’s Research Trust has received since the start of the campaign.
As promised, here’s the total value of donations to the Alzheimer’s Research Trust thanks to the Match it for Pratchett campaign so far:Via Another Message From the Alzheimer's Research Trust
£29,286.15 from 688 donations
This is tremendous news. We’re so excited about the way this campaign has grown. It’s non-stop right now in the Trust’s offices.
The research this will fund offers hope to the more than 24 million people around the world with dementia. Thanks to Terry, online fans like you, and many others the dementia deficit in research funding is narrowing.
Its a great start but there is still a lot more money to raise. Whether it is face-to-face, on Twitter, LJ, your blog or your favourite forum, don't stop mentioning the campaign. You can make a real difference to humanities understanding of Alzheimer's.

This is excellent news!
I'm thinking of using the button with the t-shirt design to have a permanent link to this site on the sidebar of my blog.

It's great news that so much money has been raised, but I can't help being disappointed by the number of donations. 688 people out of the millions that have read Terry Pratchett's books. One pound each would have made thousands but only 688 people have given anything.
So far.
But I am impressed that I'm not the only person that gave more than just 1 pound. Thankyou.

oj, there's no reason to be disappointed at this stage. We only started this on Thursday, 13 March. It took a while for the word to get out.
Now, however, news of Match It For Pratchett is all over the web. The UK Alzheimer's Research Trust says donations are pouring in at an unprecedented level. Things are definitely looking up!

I just gave to the US Alzheimer's organisation, so you can add about 20 more pounds to that number. (It looks like more in US funds, but our currency is depressed currently. Stupid US dollar. Darn that economy.)
